Motels - Total of 4 motels of various layouts and sizes.
Cabins - There are a total of 9 cabins in a U shape.
Waterfront caravan and tent sites are located towards the front of the property. Power is supplied next each individual site excluding tent sites.
Waste disposal and portable drinking water is located next to the shower and toilet block.
Life vests and paddles supplied.
Conditions Apply: Incoming to high tide is the most suitable time due to the strong tides from the harbour. All kayakers must wear lifejackets provided. Children must be supervised. This is an independent activity and not supervised by camp staff. Kayaks can only be hired and used from camp foreshore.

Unfortunately our parking space is limited. There are times when we may not have room for your boat. Please phone us when you book to request if we can fit your sized boat to a suitable position.
We have a fish station near the beach, we would appreciate that no fish remains are disposed of in the harbour - we provide a freezer in the communal kitchen to put the fish waste into.
Motel accommodation has allocated 1x car parking space outside the motels. The cabins have limited parking spaces, first in first served - if needed more parking can be found to the right driveway from the cabins or outside the main office.
All reservations require a valid credit card for all bookings. Some payments are due upon Check in unless pre-arrangements are made by the Kawhia Beachside s-cape management. Credit card details are held for security of the reservation, inline with our Cancellation Policy.
4 OR MORE NIGHTS PAYMENT POLICY
If bookings are 4 or more nights, we require a 50% deposit of the reservation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If reservation is cancelled with more than 48 hours notice prior to arrival no charge will be made. If reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of arrival the total of the first night's fee is payable. Failure to show for a reservation will be charged the first night's fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 4 OR MORE NIGHTS
If cancelled before 7 days prior to stay- a full refund of deposit is allowed.
If cancelled before 4 days prior - 25% of the reservation is non refundable.
If cancelled within 48 hours, 50% of the reservation is non refundable. If a guest fails to cancel a reservation and does not arrive check-in (ie NO SHOW) then 50% of the full accommodation amount will be incurred, this also applies to group bookings.
